I don’t want to give too much away, about what is real or what is myth from the original ballad, but I simply loved it. I adore books based on and inspired by ballads and love what Barraclough does here with Long Lankin. ![]() ![]() “The Accidental Diva” is the first stand alone novel and was released in the year 2004. She lives in Brooklyn with her husband, her daughter, and many half-written manuscripts. Learning that her words have actually made somebody laugh, feel seen, or cry is the best part of being a writer, to Tia. It is the one and only way she knows how she can access real emotion in her characters. For her, fiction is the truth that is amplified about a thousand times.
